S.M.A.R.T Start the New Year!
Please check each month for the informative, and inspirational Director’s letter located on the top of the page. This month we look forward to the New Year 2009. Some of us are still reliving previous years and it is time to move on.
MEN’S LEADERS WANTED!
We are seeking men who are willing to work and be trained to lead men in their Sections. We currently need a Sectional Men’s Leader for the Long Island Section, the Capital Section, and the North Central Section. We are also looking for men to be trained as Assistant Sectional Men’s/LFTL Representatives. If you are a man of good reputation, and have a trainable spirit, please call Will Fox at 585-748-5830.
POINTS OF INTEREST
1. 2009 Convention “POINT MAN” These are the dates for next year’s convention which is titled “POINT MAN”. Please circle and set aside October 16th and 17th 2009. The flyer is located under the Convention icon on the left.
2. Light For The Lost The Light For The Lost tour will be started again with new features and a return to the Councilmen program here in NY. Please check for updates and new features under LFTL icon on the left.
3. Canadian/USA Pentecostal Men’s Fellowship
We will be having Ontario, Canada, and New York Prayer Summits to form a vision for our new relationship. We will also be sharing a retreat in Canada, while some men from Canada will be attending our convention in October.
A. 2009 Ottawa’s Men’s Retreat Our Ontario/New York Pan-American Men’s Fellowship will be having a joint men’s retreat June 5th through June 7th, 2009. It will be held at the Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp. The cost will be $112 Canadian for food and lodgings. Pastors are free if they bring at least one man from their church. 4. Conferences and Seminars If your church or section is interested in scheduling a conference or a seminar, we have several you can choose from. They include top national speakers like Phil and Paul Downer from DNA ministries, and qualified local teachers and leaders. To schedule, or for information, please call Will Fox at 585-924-4798.

Our goal is to help train and disciple men’s leaders to implement successful men’s ministries in every church in the New York District. It is possible to have a ministry for men that works
